At Style DJs, we would like to think that we are open and honest about everything we do, and therefore ask that you do not take offence to the way we have outlined our terms.

Style DJs is a mobile disco & DJ hire agency. All of the DJs we provide are self employed and responsible for obtaining their own Public Liability insurance as well as ensuring their disco equipment is in full working order and PAT certified. This is checked amongst our members on a regular basis, however we cannot be held responsible if the DJ provided has allowed their cover to elapse.

The following terms and conditions are to protect your safety as our client, and to protect us as a business.

You will be contractually bound by the following at the time of placing your deposit, thus confirming that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.

If you need further clarification, please ask us BEFORE placing your deposit.


Deposits act as both your confirmation and cancellation fee if applicable, and are therefore non refundable unless an unexpected error has occurred concerning payment.

No booking will be confirmed unless a deposit has been received, or you have received written confirmation from Style DJs that you are not required to pay a deposit for your booking.

Any outstanding balance will be settled BEFORE your entertainment commences, and we have been made aware of the method of payment you will be using (cash, card, BACS or PayPal). Cheques are not accepted unless cleared prior to the date in which the booking is for.


If you decide to cancel your booking, you may do this at any point up to the date of your booking by getting in touch with us at the earliest opportunity.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date will result in a loss of the total invoice amount which you will be obliged to pay.

If a cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the booking date, your deposit will become transferable allowing you to rebook within 1 year of the original date.

You must notify us of the alternative date (subject to our availability) before the original booked date lapses, and this may only be done once.

We cannot accept an alternative date after the date of your original booking has lapsed. This will incur the loss of your deposit and you will be required to place a new booking.


Parking costs are NOT included in your quotation. If the DJ incurs costs upon arrival at the booking, these will be passed on to you and must be paid upfront before entertainment commences.

Where possible, a parking space for the DJ should be reserved as close to the venue entrance for logistical reasons. If this is not possible, please advise us of the alternative option.


Venue access MUST be available at least 1 HOUR before the start time of your booking. Style DJs or your DJ will not be held responsible for a late start due to delayed access.

You must advise the venue that the DJ will need at least 30 MINUTES to dismantle and remove the equipment at the end of the event.


Guests must be kept clear of the disco equipment and stands AT ALL TIMES! The ONLY exception to this is for a brief moment a request is made to the DJ.

The entertainment will immediately stop if any of the following occur at your event;

Entertainment will not be reinstated until the DJ and venue management (where applicable) has made the decision on the grounds that it is safe to do so, and any disruption has been resolved by the organiser or security personnel if present.


After your event has taken place, we will get in touch to request any positive, negative or constructive feedback you may have so that we are able to improve our services where necessary.

We will also ask you to rate and leave a comment on our social media pages for other clients (new and regular) to view, as this helps us greatly as a business. You are not obliged to do this, but we would like you to know it will be very much appreciated as it helps us grow confidently as a business also allowing others to also put their trust in us.


It would be a great shame for us to hear that our client is unhappy about a particular aspect of the service we have provided, but we would like to ensure you that any complaint will be taken seriously and dealt with promptly attempting to reach a fair resolution for our client.

If you have a complaint regarding the live entertainment in which the DJ is providing, it is imperative that you bring this to the DJ's attention straight away so they are given the opportunity to resolve any concerns you may have and take remedial action.

If you feel that your concerns are not being acted upon or resolved in any way, please contact Style DJs at the earliest opportunity so we can be given a chance to rectify the issue.

We may request a written statement from you outlining any issues, and why feel they were not resolved at the time.

We shall also request a written report from the DJ provided to get an understanding of the issues raised and, to investigate any concerns where necessary.

We regret to inform you that Style DJs will be unable investigate or resolve any issues brought to our attention after the date of the event if the concerns were not raised immediately to the DJ at the time, or if the DJ has no knowledge of such concern(s).

If your complaint is regarding the service received leading up to the date of your booking, please get in touch with the Events Manager at Style DJs at your earliest opportunity so that we can resolve any concerns directly with you.
